Constantine and the Christianisation of the Roman Empire. Beginning with the battle of the Milvian Bridge and ending with the death of Fausta and Licinius, this edition shows how the Emperor Constantine brought Christianity to the western world. In AD 312, Rome was in crisis. The empire had been divided into four parts, each with its own emperor who fought one another. Constantine intervened and united Rome, using military might and a new religion – Christianity.
Man, just think if Constantine had lost we could have skipped this whole christ thing entirely…darn
This man Destroyed a lot of are history in the name of Christ .. What a true piece of shit … Sounds like the Anti-Christ to me …
So Italy had a better system than western Europe…
How convenient, Rome crucifies him and then they get to kill hundreds of millions in his name over two millenia
The Roman Empire was the greastest of all time.
the victorian ages make look nero or his tales and myths of him, as goody tu shoes in comparison
it was understood the ancient tradition of romans especially byzantium that followed believed in one law and one empire. when today you cannot get a consenus of what is right and wrong and where to stand with the law. australia has over government and is over regulated and has governmental departments that act as laws unto themselves.
the romans would see todays anglo saxon system as endemically barbaric and would see the hypocrisy is the concept of political donations-of t oday.
rome did not develop a law society that exploits and divides family and form a inherent ellite organisation that is private and serves in its own interest, its own rules on the basis of profitability. the romans believed the family is sacred and not subject to a lawyers guild that exercised power on its own accord making billions on the misery of broken families. this is why prophetically the romans called them barbarians because they had no limit to what they wanted to exploit and enslave
but england did have 200,000 prostitutes to be subserviant to men when woman in rome had equal rights– a fact. rome did have proper sanitary systems for all. rome had a trine system that direcly represented the peoples rights. rome did not have the monsterous and barbaric credit inflationary system that the english invented to enslave the world. the romans had workers and not slaves who had rights, in contrast the the slaves of the english empire that were treated like animals.
rome did not have 200,000 prostitutes destitute to buy bread, rome did not have overcrowded tendements which spread disease because of the lack of sanitary sewerage and water access systems.
rome did not have barbaric brain altering surgeries and follisitcal antiscientific medical theories based on pseudo science, rome had a tribune that directly represented the people and england has a house of lords that merely represented an old feudal order to the embarrasement of western europe
lastly this version of history that this documentary presents is inaccurate.
typcial of the english unversities who are paid to pompously distort roman history in a light to make england look good on the other side.
st constantine had genuine convictions and did not use christianity as a polticial means for power. but it was through his own conviction a search for virtues and justice that emulated the greeks is what is in order here. the inferiority complex of the western world is what at stake.
i love how the pomppous english distort roman history. in every department the romans were more civilised than the english and they have created a tradition of lying so that the world believe that the parliamentary system is the most civilised when in fact the romans produced a more civilised and made a system more in sinc with justice and virtues that the english have ever done. on one hand they envy the claim of constantine and on the other disdain their own barbaric folly dark ages to world
@holmsely true true bro!i was just sayin war should always be the last resort.but i have to admit sometimes war is necessary.your right!there can be peace but people will have to let go of pride and egos.work and serve each other instead of one self.have compassion for each other.places like that do exist.
لا إله إلا الله
@allester99 you just said you would go to war to defend those you love which contradicts your whole statement besides war is in our minds we cannot erase what our ancestors taught us millions of years ago it would be as if we learned to stop breathing its an instinct we use it to live war keeps us alive any man or woman knows how to inflict pain on instinct hmph people like you think there can be world peace tell me then describe your world full of peace
@holmsely nope!it has simply proven mankind cannot live together.history repeating itself. men have always fought for pety reasons.more lands more slaves more power. you are just another example on why the human race would rather destroy each other rather than make peace.lol boylover??come on man thats not necessary!!i dont believe in making war untill it comes to you forcing you to defend yourself and loved ones.obviously your brain is to small to imagine a world without war.
@allester99 What is a world with no war? Men will fight for what they think is right, they have for millions of years. one theory to prove that man cannot live without war is natural selection the weak must die the strong must thrive to keep the cycle no war is no future, How else did man come to the scientific break through of the atomic bomb one of the biggest breakthroughs in human history?… war. boylovers like you can make art and think the world is not a harsh place but it is.
@allester99 I am no war monger. I simply acknowledge the lie of universal peace and accept the positive benefits of chaos. Total chaos is a terrible thing. Absolute security is also a terrible thing.
@TheDavid2222 well ladies and gents i rest my case!!!!LOL this man theDavid2222 is a perfect example of why man kind will continue to make the same mistakes.this man is an example of why man can NEVER co-exist or live in peace because of war mongers like this one!!!
He was a great emperor
@koenan1 Sure his followers have ignored these standards – horribly and frequently – but that was kind of his point in coming. Nobody is good enough, nice enough, honorable enough to fix the world. He was. And whether you believe the text or not, you have to admit that the character represented there is generous, kind, sacrificial, and empathetic to losers at a time when these qualities were unheard of (whether the gospels were written in 90 AD or 326 AD).
@TheDavid2222 “The maniacal dictator known as the Christian God”? The one that is shown healing people of illnesses, being kind to people no one else showed kindness to, the one that dismantled the culturally exclusive system of rules that Judaism had become in favor of a new system of being kind and generous at every opportunity. This maniac had the nerve to love where love wasn’t welcome, and give attention to people that the world kicked and abused.
@RomanoVictus ….
You really have a reading problem. “They DO fight for their God(s). “
@TheLueii Really? So when the pope in all crusades said “God wills it!” they werent fighting for him? You’re an idiot who is trying to defend religion even though they fight for something that their religion preaches against.
@allester99 Actually I misstated my thoughts. I respect CHAOS more than Christianity. War is a result of chaos. In chaos human beings become creative and strong. Christianity is the EXACT opposite. It promotes obedience and submission to the maniacal dictator known as the Christian God. So, I still do respect war more than Christianity for GOOD reason. All you have done is appeal to emotion. You just repeat war is bad! over and over and over again. I disagree with your moral system anyways!
